Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in Full Scope Midwifery
  • Serve patients in both outpatient settings and a laborist in the hospital
  • Collaborate with a team of 6 OBGYNS and 10 CNMs
  • First Assist experience preferred, willingness to train in First Assist, Circumcisions and Centering Pregnancy.

Company Description

UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center, a member of University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a Full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join its established practice. The practice will provide services in Glen Burnie, Pasadena, and Hanover.

Unit Specifics:

  • Work across 4 LDRP units with expansion plans underway
  • Provide care for 15 antepartum patients
  • Access to Level II Nursery facilities
  • Utilize EPIC EMR with STORK integration
Qualifications
  • Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Certified Nurse Midwifery Program required.
  • Current state licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife or eligible required, certified in area of specialty.
  • Minimum of two (2) years acute care experience required.
  • Meets requirements to maintain clinical privileges as a member of the BWMC Medical Staff.
